AIRTEL MONEY 

 Step 1

Visit an airtel center or airtel money agent



  • Visit an airtel Shops, airtel distributor shops, Authorised airtel Money Dealer outlet or any of our Partner banks
  • Carry your Voter’s ID, National ID, National Passport, NHIS or Driver’s Licence
  • Fill in the airtel Money Customer Registration form
  • The agent will confirm your registration and show you how to start using the service



    Step 2

    Activate your SIM card

    • Activate your airtel Money menu
    • Send the word"ZAP" via SMS to 222 or "AM" to 22221 for blackberry users
    • You will receive airtel Money menu on your phone
    • If you do not receive the menu within 24 hours, call the hotline on 222 (0260000222) or visit the nearest airtel Centre for your SIM card to be provisioned with the menu.

    Step 3

    Start enjoying the servicewith its diverse features which include

    • Depositing of money for free
    • Withdrawing money at a minimal charge
    • Sending money to other airtel Money customers or across other networks
    • Buying airtime for your own use and for others on airtel or for others across networks
    • Making purchases from airtel Money merchants
    • Paying bills including DStv bills, Postpaid bills, loan contributions and many more
    • Sending money to and withdrawing money from your bank account.




     

     MTN MOBILE MONEY

    You can own an MTN MobileMoney wallet by going through 6 easy steps and enjoy the benefits of a whole new financial experience - ease, convenience, speed and security.
    • With a valid photo ID card (Voter ID, Drivers’ License, Passport)go to the nearest MTN MobileMoney Authorised Merchant 
    • The Merchant captures your personal details and gives you a MobileMoney SIM card.
    •  Insert your MobileMoney SIM in your phone. You will receive an SMS asking you to register 
    • Go to “My MTN” on your mobile phone and select “Mobile Money” 
    •  Select “Register” and enter your photo ID type and number 
    • Select and repeat MobileMoney PIN (4 digits)

    Tigo Cash

    Tigo Cash is an easy, safe and affordable way to send cash or make payments from your phone. With Tigo Cash, you can pay anyone on any network. You can also buy credit/airtime and check your account balance.

    1. Enter Mobile No. 
    Enter mobile number you wish to send cash to.
    2. Enter Amount.
    Enter  amount you wish to send.
    3. A transaction summary indicating amount to send and fee charged would be displayed for confirmation.
    4. Enter secret PIN to complete transaction.
    Once secret PIN is entered, cash is INSTANTLY sent!

    2. Buy Credit

    1. Enter Amount
    Enter value of airtime you wish to buy
    2. A transaction summary indicating amount to buy is displayed for confirmation.
    3. Enter secret PIN to complete transaction.
    2. Other Tigo Number
    1. Enter Mobile No.
    Enter number you wish to buy credit for.
    2. Enter Amount.
    Enter amount you wish to buy.
    3. A transaction summary indicating amount to buy and fee charged is displayed for confirmation.
    4. Enter secret PIN to complete transaction.

    3. Withdraw Cash
    1. Enter Agent Code or Mobile No.
    Ensure to get Code or Mobile No from the Agent.
    2. Enter Amount
    Enter Amount you wish to withdraw.
    3. A transaction summary indicating amount to withdraw and fee charged is displayed for confirmation.
    4. Enter secret PIN to complete transaction.

    4. Payments
    1. Enter Mobile No.
     Enter mobile number you wish to send cash to.
    2. Enter Amount.
     Enter amount you wish to send.
    3. Enter Reference.
     Enter any alpha-numeric characters as Reference ID (maximum of 10 characters).
    4. A transaction summary indicating amount to send and fee charged is displayed for confirmation.
    5. Enter secret PIN to complete transaction.
    Please note that this option is for making payments to businesses and institutions.

    5. My Account
    1. Check Balance
    1. Enter Secret PIN to confirm. Hang up to cancel.
    2. Mini Statement
    1. Enter Secret PIN to confirm. Hang up to cancel.
    You will receive a text indicating your last 3 transactions.

    3. Change PIN
    1. Enter current PIN.
    2. Enter new PIN.
    3. Confirm new PIN.
    You will receive a text indicating successful completion or failure of PIN reset
