Difference between BES and BIS?

 BES

BlackBerry Enterprise Solution or BES is for large organizations with mobile staff that require access to corporate data and emails on the go.

 

 

BIS

BlackBerry Internet Solution or BIS is for individuals who need quick access to emails. With BIS, you can access up to 10 email accounts plus a complementary BlackBerry email.

You also enjoy internet browsing and Multimedia messaging and instant messaging applications like Gtalk, yahoo messenger and Blackberry messenger.

Only one subscription is possible, you cannot stack plans, you can only subscribe to other plans after the expiry of the first one.

Can I keep using Glo Blackberry service even after my bundled data limit is exhausted? If you have exhausted your given data bundle, your services will be barred and you will have to renew your services to enjoy seamless connectivity.

Blackberry services are active till your subscription period as per the plan you have chosen or till you exhaust the data bundle.

BlackBerry Social & BlackBerry Complete

 

BlackBerry Social: A new BlackBerry Internet Service feature. It allows for;

i. An always on internet connection (Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies)

ii. A personalized Gloworld.BlackBerry.com E-mail address

iii. Unlimited access to chat with other BB users on BB Messenger (BBM)

Note: Users will not be able to create any private E-mail address

BlackBerry Complete: A new BlackBerry Internet Service feature. It allows for;

i. A personalized Gloworld.BlackBerry.com E-mail address

ii. Ability to create 1 private E-mail address – E.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.

iii. Unlimited access to chat with other BB users on BB Messenger (BBM)
